The foundation ad that out-booked everything else I ran
Most foundation ads die in the first two seconds. They open with the company — "family-owned since 1994." Nobody scrolling at 11pm cares about your founding date. They care about the crack over their door that keeps getting longer.
This is the exact ad that booked more foundation inspections than anything else I've run. The hook, the copy, the structure, the targeting — all of it, below. Swap in your city and run it this week.
The problem
Ads that open with the company get scrolled past.
The outcome
A proven ad, live in your account this week.
The asset
The full ad copy, ready to paste.
Why this ad works
It talks to the 97% who have the problem and haven't Googled it yet — not the 3% already price-shopping three of your competitors. When you're the only one in the conversation, there's no price war to lose.
Every line does one job:
| Line | Its job |
| Hook | Names the symptom the homeowner already feels. Not your company. |
| Agitate | Foundation problems spread. Waiting costs more. |
| Reframe | Catching it early is the cheap version. |
| Risk reversal | Free, written, useful even if they never hire you. |
| CTA | One tap. Low commitment. |

PRIMARY TEXT
That crack above your door didn't show up overnight.
It started as a hairline you could barely see. Now the door sticks, there's a gap at the top corner, and the line keeps creeping toward the window.
Here's the thing about foundation problems: they don't heal. They spread — slowly, then all at once, usually right before the rainy season hits.
We've helped homeowners across [CITY] catch this early and fix it for a fraction of what a full failure costs. Free inspection, no pressure. We'll tell you straight whether it's cosmetic or structural — in writing.

Step 2. Match the creative to the copy
- Use a real photo of a stair-step crack, a gap over a door, or a sloping floor — shot on a phone, in a real house. Not a stock photo of a contractor in a hard hat.
- One image beats a polished graphic here. The whole point is "this looks like my house," not "this looks like an ad."
Tip: the highest-performing version was a slightly imperfect iPhone photo of an actual crack a customer sent in. Candid beats produced every time in this niche.
Step 3. Set the targeting
- Location: your city + 20–25 miles
- Age: 35–65
- Audience: broad. Don't stack 12 interests. Meta finds foundation buyers better than you can target them — give it room.
- Objective: Leads or Messages — whichever your intake can answer within 5 minutes.
Step 4. Know what "working" looks like
- Judge it on cost per booked inspection, never cost per lead. A $9 lead that never books is more expensive than a $40 lead that shows up.
- Give it 3–4 days and $20–30/day before you decide anything. Early CPMs lie.
One number decides everything: what a booked inspection costs you. Everything else is noise.
